INTERO PERFORMANCE

Welcome to the OSRP

The Operational Stress Reactivity Profile was developed over the past twenty years and specifically designed to help operators gain a better understanding of subtle impacts on their performance, as well as provide a pathway to improve emotional reactivity, convergent thinking, and divergent thinking.

You will move through six (6) phases:
  1. 1Anchoring BreathFollow the prompts on the screen to help guide you through the breathing protocol. Don't worry if you're doing it exactly right — just remain focused on your breath.
  2. 2Forced-choice scenarios (EPT)48 items across leadership, moral gray areas, identity, parenthood, failure, and decision-under-pressure. No neutral option will be provided.
  3. 3Trait self-report (TAI)60 quick statements on a 5-point scale. 15-minute cap.
  4. 4Divergent cognitive task (CLFT)10 prompts, 90 seconds each. Assessing how fast your cognitive resources deplete under load.
  5. 5Convergent reasoning (mRAT)76 items in 10 minutes, hard stop. Assesses your decision speed and persistence.
  6. 6Recovery breathing3 minutes. Nervous system recoverability — again, you will follow the instructions on the screen during this section.
Between stages: a brief pause screen that auto-advances after 60 seconds, or you can continue earlier. The timer does not pause once you're inside a stage. You will also have the option to take one 5-minute break anytime should you need to pause the session — remember, this is a one-time-use break for the entire session.

Most sessions take approximately 30–45 minutes to complete. Make sure you are in an undistracted location and have the freedom to fully concentrate on the OSRP.
